Purpose:
The IT Support Specialist is a staff position within the IT department accountable for ensuring continuity of computer system services for computers, users and infrastructure by providing the technical expertise, assistance and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify/repair hardware and resolve technical problems.

Desired Skills and Experience:
BS in network support or equivalent certifications
Minimum of 2 years working in enterprise office environment
Knowledge of Android and iOS devices
Understanding of DNS, DHCP, DFS, GP, Failover Clustering
User creation/termination in AD/o365
Understanding of networking principals including routing, VLANs and trunking
Administration of managed WAPs using radius or other EAP solution
Understanding of SANs, configuring RAIDs and LUNs
Job Responsibilities

General support of MPLS/Internet, LAN/WAN including VoIP and mobile devices (including MDM)
Administration of active directory in a Hyper-V environment
Administration of office365 in a hybrid environment including MDM, Exchange online and SharePoint (preferred)
Administration and deployment of corporate anti-virus solution (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
Working knowledge of firewalls, switches, routers, VoIP equipment and network printers
Maintain and troubleshoot server backups (Veeam backup and recovery)
Onboarding of all new employees; setup of employee workspaces
IT asset management, deployment and procurement including servers, laptops, peripherals, VoIP equipment and mobile devices
Network monitoring and troubleshooting
Vendor escalation liaison
Maintain documentation and knowledge articles for user base and IT staff
Provide support encompassing on-site as well as remote locations/employees
Administer help desk software; escalate situations to the appropriate resources based on business impact and document resolutions
Conduct workflow application testing in development environment
Provide project management support for IT related projects
Assists in the development of IT related policies and procedures
Maintenance of service agreements/contracts
Reconciliation of business purchases in Concur (if applicable)
