Required Skills and Qualifications
Licensed Ph.D or Psy.D or Unencumbered California RN license
2-5 years Clinical Research Coordination experience
2-5 years Clinical experience in the therapeutic area of the trial
IATA Certificate required within 3 months of hire
IV and Blood Withdrawal Certification within 1 year of hire
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC-Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP-Society of Clinical Research Professionals (SoCRA) within 1 year of hire
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required within 1 year of hire
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

The Advanced Clinical Trials Specialist will ensure that all clinical trials are conducted in accordance with the protocol requirements, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) guidance and regulations. The Adv. Clinical Trials Specialist will demonstrate a commitment to providing quality service, support and responsiveness to research subjects, physician investigators, trial sponsors, hospital staffs (clinical and administrative) and
contract research organizations (CROs) as applicable.
The Advanced Clinical Trials Specialist is part of the Oncology Research Department at Sharp Memorial Hospital. The Oncology Research Department at Sharp Healthcare is responsible, along with physician investigators, for the conduct of cancer clinical trials as well as the care of the patients enrolled in them. The department works as a team to meet patient needs, regulatory requirements, data collection and enrollment goals in support of the research being conducted.
