As Virtuoso continues to grow our Business Intelligence and Analytics department, this position will be responsible for managing a team of Business Analysts as well as providing data analysis, data visualizations, and partnering with various internal teams across the organization to provide insights. This is a preferred hybrid role based in one of Virtuoso’s Fort Worth or Seattle locations, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office. Virtual may be considered.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide advanced data analysis that informs business strategy and drives engagement with employees, partners, and members.

Analyses include but are not limited to exploratory analysis, prescriptive analysis, ROI.

Manage, develop and mentor a team of Business Analysts (and potentially interns) to deliver high quality analyses.

Utilize data skills to combine multiple data sources to discover novel insights, identify trends, and investigate anomalies.
-
Work with complex projects and business requirements while delivering concise and comprehensive results.

Develop meaningful presentations and data visualizations that inform business users of performance, opportunities, and areas in need of improvement across our product offerings.

Develop SQL scripts and Tableau dashboards for recurring analysis.

Perform root-cause analysis and seek to understand the data.

Ability to work in a white space environment and be creative.

Perform ad-hoc analysis around all product types inside the Virtuoso network.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or applicable experience

Minimum 4 years performing in depth analyses, e.g. exploratory analysis, ROI, etc.

Minimum 4 years working with SQL

Minimum 2 years managing associates or as a team lead

Advanced knowledge of the principles of data analysis and data quality

Advanced SQL skills (MS SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.)

Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge

Proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, R, etc.)

Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau)

Travel Requirements:

Infrequent travel may be required to attend company events. (1-3 trips per year)
