The Program Analyst/Scheduler is responsible for assisting program managers on multiple programs, monitoring and supporting program schedules, status reports, metrics, and program financials. The role is also responsible for master scheduling in specific functional areas of the company and analyzing, planning and revising capacity and load on department and vendor resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, analyze and present daily tracking reports and dashboards in charts, graphs, tables, and databases to help control costs, revenue, gross margins, risks, labor and manpower for the PMO and Manufacturing/Operations
Design, collect, clean, validate and model the data for the purpose of presenting it in a readable manner for decision making purposes.
Work closely with production to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform management team of the cost drivers and variances
Prepare, monitor and maintain MFG KPI’s for planning and scheduling performance.
Actively participate in the monthly S&OP process and serve as back up to the master scheduler
Assist with analysis and publication of key reports
Assists the monitoring of capacity/load on a regular frequency as required (Rough Cut Capacity Planning)
Assist in the development, management, coordination and monitoring of assigned project schedules.
Assists with the modeling of simulated load (projected sales), ongoing projects, work scopes and required capacity into a time phased schedule
Participates in the development and management of scheduling templates and communication tools utilizing current business systems.
Manage Production/Procurement requirements to align with the level loaded schedule.
Participate with Program Management for the coordination of information as assigned.
Work closely with the functional teams to understand issues and how they impact the master schedule.
Maintain the Kit production tracker report, Manufacturing Daily Revenue/Cost tracker, Rough Cut Capacity Load review, Demand Capacity Web App, S&OP Revenue Update, Past Due Work Orders, Overall Manufacturing Direct Hours and On time Deliveries
Develop, manage, coordinate and monitor individual project schedules as demand and integrate multiple project-based schedules into an overall Master Program Schedule.
Develop and manage scheduling project templates and communications tools utilizing MS Project, MS Excel and MS SharePoint; administer MS SharePoint project sites; flexibility to adapt internal data formats to ensure appropriate linkages/dependencies with external scheduling tools which may employ various software platforms.
Provide input to finance on operating plans for the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity.
Engage in capacity management during manpower requirements planning, master scheduling, and activity control.
Establish reporting to determine labor and productivity performance statistics.
Coordinate information with other functional staff, including sales /customer service, Certification / ODA, Engineering, Finance and external interfaces.
Work closely with the functional teams to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform management team on the key cost divers and variances.
Establish key performance indicators of forecast / scheduling accuracy; ensure the interaction functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
Prepare, analyze, and present tracking reports in charts, graphs, tables, and databases to help understand costs, margins, risk mitigation, labor, and manpower planning.
Analyze data and communicate information accurately to the program management office (PMO).
Interface with cost accounting to validate program financial information accuracy, reconcile revenue forecast, and establish standard methods of communicating financial data.
Assist in standardizing program schedules and forecasts to ensure smooth project lifecycles.
Evaluate current program reporting tools and recommend changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and standardization of program reporting.
Complete initial / recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.

Associate’s Degree or higher preferred, with a focus on business or operations management.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Two or more years program management experience preferred
2+ years with finance/scheduling programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
Effective organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work.
Accomplish planned work in compliance with company procedures and supervisors’ instructions.
Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Software, primarily MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Excel, SharePoint site administration and other Company and discipline specific software applications.
Ability and willingness to work extended hours, when needed.

Read, write and understand the English language.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
PMI-SP and/or PMP coursework or certification preferred
APICS CPIM and/or CSCP coursework or certification preferred
