The Student Activities Office of Bellarmine University has an opening for an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for contributing to creating a vibrant community that welcomes and develops students within the Student Activities Center. The position will provide administrative support as well as advising, programming, marketing, and management of technology systems. Additionally, this position will coordinate and manage the university room reservation system.

Specific Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty, vendors, and community partners via phone, e-mail, and personal interactions.
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Engage (RSO management software) in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Student Activities and all accompanying paperwork and processes.
Facilitate campus trainings for Engage and serve as point person for faculty and staff utilizing the Engage system
Coordinate one large scale welcome back program each semester (fall and spring) for the SAC, such as Centro Takeover?a welcome back event for all students to connect with offices and campus resources.
Process and manage facilities requests, room reservations, PO's, check requests, travel arrangements and all paperwork processes for the SAC and RSOs.
Manage university room management system and serve as primary approver for university space reservations
Collaborate with university departments regarding space reservation system (i.e. IT, Registrar, Special Events, Alumni & Development)
Develop and implement marketing plan for SAC including but not limited to: creation of program flyers, submission of digital marketing campaigns, maintaining social media platforms, sending the Daily Knight, and creating overall cohesion of SAC branding
Supervise up to five Student Assistants who serve as Office Managers in the SAC
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the SAC including: checking SAC e-mail, processing mail for SAC and RSOs, ordering supplies, and facilitating overall cleanliness of SAC space
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
A bachelor's degree is preferred and one year minimum of administrative experience is required. Must have excellent administrative and computer skills/experience, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Access/Excel/PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook). Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment. An interest in working with college students and having a student-centered philosophy is required. Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to manage multiple assignments while accommodating walk-ins and unexpected needs.
