PHAT PHAT FIRES UP CHICAGOLAND THIS SUMMER
This summer, the team behind Chicago’s award-winning Imperial Lamian expands its footprint to the suburbs with the opening of Phat Phat. The brand-new eatery will call the heart of Schaumburg home and is a completely original dining concept set to serve guests dishes inspired by various culinary scenes across Southeast Asia.
The restaurant’s menu blends innovative techniques with classic and fresh ingredients for an approachable and inviting dining experience under the culinary direction of Chef Alan Tan. The menu includes Dim Sum, Fried Rice, Rice Clay Pots, Jiao Ji in a variety of flavors as well as shared plates including Hainan Chicken, Black Pepper Beef, Wonton Mee, and Snow Ice, among others. There is something for all diners!
In addition, Phat Phat will feature a full bar that includes Asian-inspired cocktails, global selections of wine, as well as saké, beer, teas and non-alcoholic options.
The restaurant is expertly designed by Jakarta-based Metaphor Interior Architecture, and feature a rustic, airy design, offering a welcoming environment for guests. The expansive two-story location also features exposed brick, wooden accents and greenery – offering a unique, natural design. Phat Phat will be a full-service restaurant, with 150 seats sprawled throughout including an inviting bar and private dining areas for larger groups. Delivery and catering options will also be available.
