Rumi's Kitchen is currently seeking exceptional Server candidates to join our team at our soon-to-open Washington, D.C. location!
*** About Us ***
Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Meshgali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location and led to a second Rumi's Kitchen in the Atlanta suburbs in 2016.
In 2020, after postponing our openings due to quarantine, Rumi's Kitchen is opening across from the convention center in Mount Vernon Square, D.C. and in Midtown ATL, with our sights set on the future.
*** About You ***
We are searching for ambitious, friendly individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Servers are responsible for helping guests navigate our menu, pacing courses, developing relationships with guests and helping their teammates on the floor. Skills developed as a Server enable success in other roles within our restaurant, and teach a level of professionalism that translates to other industries.
Restaurant experience is not necessary!
*** What to Expect ***
Paid server training prior to our opening will last approximately two weeks; our comprehensive training will require commitment to complete.
Paid training and team building sessions will begin in early August, with a mid-August grand opening.
