As a trusted industry leader, GTL provides services to over 2 million inmates in more than 2,500 correctional facilities in the United States and Canada, including 33 U.S. departments of corrections, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and many large city/county/provincial facilities.

GTL is seeking a Forensic Intelligence Training Specialist to join our team. The Intelligence Specialist will become an expert on GTL’s Intelligence Services and tools, drive intelligence tools implementation and training, and proactively provide support to nationwide Intelligence Services sales efforts. The Specialist can be based remotely and will be a road warrior, spending at least 75% of their time directly interacting with and supporting customer efforts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate on-site intelligence tool training for new customers to ensure contract compliance, and re-training for current customers to maximize tool adoption
Ad hoc tool demonstrations in support of sales efforts
Integrate with installation and service teams to implement GTL Intelligence tools consistent with all the requirements of the contract
Review customer data sources and facilitate data movement to GTL Intelligence tools backend
Interface with internal GTL data providers and ensure data is accurately ingested into GTL Intelligence tools
Collaborate with external data providers, setup FTP sites, and ensure data is accurately ingested into GTL Intelligence tools
Manage users and user roles
Troubleshoot issues and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and uninterrupted access
Work with the Helpdesk to ensure requests are processed on time
Identify and foster new business opportunities through customer contact

Qualifications:
B.S. degree in criminal justice, intelligence, or a technical field, or 4 years relevant work experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of 2 years of criminal or administrative investigative experience
Strong communication skills and ability to discuss the product with domain business owners
Dynamic presentation and training skills
Exceptional critical thinking
Ability to quickly gain an understand GTL’s products and services and communicate value proposition to customers
Artfully and intelligently articulate GTL’s position, and work with customers to fix issues
Ability to liaise with different kinds of people and resolve conflicts in a timely manner
Ability and desire to learn SQL skills, relational databases and application architectures
Must be able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time

Desired Qualifications:
Sales and Customer Service experience
SQL skills (build data models, manipulate data within SQL database, prepare and facilitate secure data transfers for ingestion into intel tools, etc.)
Project Management experience
Familiarity with implementing software applications
