Job Description:
Novel Applications is seeking a highly motivated Principal Software Engineering Configuration Management Analyst. The candidate will work with a variety of configuration management tools used in current industry to manage DevOps development strategies and help develop innovative ways to employ new tools into our development environments. You will work across all disciplines in engineering to ensure consistent implementation and execution of CM methodologies. The candidate will also work to prepare and deliver the infrastructure portions of the technical data packages for our products. This includes devising new and efficient ways to package large amounts of data in an automated fashion. You will explore new ways to configure tools and/or develop scripts or code to quickly and easily repeat common activities leaving you free to develop an test other technologies or methodologies to enhance the team products and services.

Requirements:
Demonstrated mastery of configuration management concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles
Strong advocacy of configuration management principles and the ability to adapt them to meet mission requirements
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new/innovative solutions
Ability to script in Windows and Linux
Proficiency in branching strategies and Implementation
