Marketing Manager – Advanced Surgery – Medical Devices

Business Unit & Position Overview/Advanced Surgery

The US Advanced Surgery organization is a dynamic, fast-paced business unit where Baxter’s cultural levers of Courage, Collaboration, Speed and Simplicity are regularly employed.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing/executing marketing campaigns for the assigned brands (Seprafilm and Adept), leading the General/Colorectal specialty activities, and supporting the sales organization.
Define/execute marketing campaigns for Baxter’s Seprafilm and Adept brands
Understand the current market position of above-mentioned brands/competitive landscape to determine strategies/tactics to maximize market share
Define/execute on product launches (forecast, project plan, segmentation, targeting, pricing, communication plan, training, etc.)
Identifies, develops and maintains relationships with thought leaders and key opinion leaders within the specialty
Lead portfolio selling approach for the General/Colorectal specialty
Perform qualitative analysis/monthly demand forecasting to drive decisions
Create, review and approve promotional resources utilizing Veeva Promomats
Perform day-to-day product management activities
Collaborate with colleagues in US Marketing, US Sales, Global Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, R&D, Market Access, and Regulatory
Demonstrated ability to lead/collaborate with various cross-functional stakeholders
Integrated communication strategies with campaign development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to interpersonal and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior cross-functional audiences
Positive attitude with a relentless drive for optimal results
Can-do approach to all challenges, big and small, and effective in use of time and organizational resources
Effective even in highly-ambiguous situations
Accountable and self-aware
Education and/or Experience
2-5 years’ experience in medical device marketing / brand management
Surgery and OR experience is a plus
Sales experience is a plus
