As a Documentation Specialist, you'll work within People Solutions as part of a dedicated team of HR Professionals serving James Hardie HR and employees in North America. You'll be responsible for documentation control procedures, ensuring process documentation is complete and up to date, managing the review process. This role will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining a review process for HR policies.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement and maintain documentation procedures for HR processes.

Ensure all process documentation is current, accurate, and up to date.

Manage the review process for all HR documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Establish and maintain a structured review process for HR policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Collaborate with HR functions to gather necessary information for documentation updates.

Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in documentation management.

Ensure that all HR documentation follows company procedures and best practices.

Assist in training HR staff on documentation procedures and best practices.

Maintain confidentiality and security of all HR documentation.

What You’ll Bring:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or commensurate experience

Minimum of 3 years technical writing experience.

Experience in documentation management, preferably in an HR setting.

ServiceNow experience is a plus

Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work independently and adopt a proactive approach to resolving complex issues.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel with tact and diplomacy.
