SUMMARY

Assist with the coordination of research and development of new products for Alamo Dynamic and outside sales customer by performing the following duties personally or through help manager and/or supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Works with managers in Test Kitchen to develop new product and improve existing products.
  • Assists with preparing and shipping samples in a timely manner.
  • Observes and helps implement methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises part-time staff

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Food Science Degree.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from management, employees and/or customers. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply concepts such as fraction, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret detailed instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Employee must be able to exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours in length and have the ability to lift 30 pounds and up 50 pounds occasionally. Must have the stamina to work 32 to 50 hours a week.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires independent work with limited supervision, but coming in contact with numerous individuals on a regular basis. It also requires frequent contact with employees and management. The ability to plan work and meet deadlines is essential.
