Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen is a specialty casual dining concept that distinguishes itself from the competition with an innovative and creative menu (www.bakerscrust.com). Our mission is Eat Well, Be Happy! We are currently accepting applications for Host/Hostess.
Hosts pay rate is $8.00 per hour plus sales based tip-out from the service staff. The position is part time. Night and weekend availability is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age.
As a Host/Hostess you will work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, environment to deliver the best dining experience to our guests by:
- Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
- Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion, following the BC standards of service policy
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume
- Accurately seat guests according to wait times and special needs
- Maintaining the entry area, host stand and menus
- Assisting service and bar staff
- Communicating with staff and management to ensure that guest's expectations are exceeded
- Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
- Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
- Completing side work and any additional projects at the discretion of management
