JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the processing and administration of loans in all of the following areas: consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans
MAJOR DUTIES &
Responsible for the processing and administration of loans in all of the following areas: consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans.
Provides administrative assistance to the lenders and staff, including processing loan payments, inputting and updating loan data in the system, and maintaining loan records and files (paper and electronic).
Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation. Ensures that loan files contain documents and with proper signature, dates and other relevant data.
Performs clerical duties as related to processing escrow transactions, including processing loan escrows, ordering title reports, and maintaining departmental records.
Balances various general ledger accounts.
Maintains quality control of loan documents, loan files and loan systems.
Answers customer questions and resolves routine problems with inquiries regarding payoffs, changes of owner, note modifications, beneficiaries, and other loan details.
Actively achieves individual sales, referral, operational, and community involvement goals.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate or business related degree preferred.
Six months to one year of experience in a financial institution, lending setting, or office environment.
Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Fluency in computer applications and Microsoft Office Environment.
