The HR Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) is a newly established centralized global team responsible for all aspects of data strategy, governance, reporting and analytics for workforce data. We have a vision to help make individuals, teams, and businesses at JPMC among the most engaged and productive in the world. Our mission is to create workforce insights that allow leaders to make evidence-based people decisions that help drive measurable business outcomes. These decisions and outcomes are impacted by regulation and law across the JPMC landscape.
Part of CDAO, The Office of the HR Data Privacy Champion is responsible for maintaining compliance with data privacy legislation globally and associated internal policies and standards. The Head of the Data Privacy Operations Team will provide advice to HR colleagues with regards to compliance under the relevant legislations and keoversee the team responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of processes designed to enable HR to fulfil its obligations as specified in legislation. In addition, the Data Privacy Operations team partners with Privacy Champion offices Firmwide and CDAO program team on projects relevant to data privacy.
Management of the HR Data Privacy Operations team
Provide advice to HR on the compliance of their processes under the respective legislation
Conduct gap analysis between new legislation and current processes and then create/adapt processes to ensure compliance with requirements
Management of execution of processes required by GDPR. These include but are not limited to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Article 30 data validation and associated reporting.
Oversight of the HR Data Privacy Incident Management process and associated reporting
Management of and participation in associated projects
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.). Preferably in law
6+ years of experience in a corporate environment preferably in data privacy or data management
Ability to successfully design, deploy and evolve solutions to meet business requirements.
Project management experience
Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently
Strong communication (Verbal/Written/Listening/Presentation); Team player and collaborative mindset toward partners
Produce ideas/suggestions for change/improvement and go above and beyond to execute
Past experience researching items and solving problems as they arise
Highly organized to keep up with evolving environment
Ability to manage relationships across the globe and proven history of managing change effectively in rapidly adjusting environment
