Mountain View Staging is a nationwide Event Management, Logistics and Audio Visual Equipment provider with 3 locations from coast-to-coast. MVS manages the technology aspects of corporate events at venues across the country and globally. The Production Coordinator works directly in support of the preparation and execution of MVS events both on site and remotely. This crucial position ensures MVS Project Managers and Technical Directors stay organized and meet deadlines. An extensive knowledge of office productivity and collaboration software including but not limited to Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Slack, Email, Calendars and Drive storage is required. To be effective in this role multi-tasking, advanced planning and strong communication skills are mandatory. With many opportunities to travel to MVS event locations across the country this position works both remotely and in person as needed. Since the position deals directly with our clients at times candidates should be personable and easy to get along with while working through the complexities of corporate events and client demands. Procuring supplies or running errands may also be asked of this position as needed in support of MVS productions.
Necessary Skills: Planning, Scheduling, Estimating, Spreadsheets, Site Surveys, Client Relations, Meeting Notes, Booking Travel/Accommodations, Some Audio-Visual Equipment knowledge.
