Steel & Fence Supply is looking to immediately hire a part-time office assistant that is able to work up to 30 hours per week. This position is ideal for someone that is service oriented, good at following instructions, and able to multi-task well. If you enjoy helping others find the answers to their questions and building relationships, then you are a good candidate for this position.

Punctual and dependable attendance
Tentative hours are Mon.-Fri., 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Perform receptionist duties, including directing phone traffic to the appropriate departments with accuracy and a friendly demeanor
Basic data-entry and record management
Customer account management, including monitoring account statuses, balances, and basic billing communications
Learn and understand the basics of the products and services that we offer
Other supportive tasks as needed


Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, front desk service, administrative, or other related roles
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude
Views coaching and feedback as an opportunity to grow


Starting rate range of $18-$20/hr depending on experience, with the potential for further rate growth based on candidate performance and qualifications
