We are looking for Residential Service Plumbers in all of our current locations. This is a tremendous opportunity for a Service Plumber who has at least 5 years of residential experience.

THE BIG TASK

Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic

solvent, caulking, or soldering.

Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures

such as sinks or toilets, using hand or power tools.

Keep records of work assignments.

Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or

components.

Maintain or repair plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or

opening clogged drains.

Design and layout the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes for DWV, and potable

water systems up to the current plumbing code.

Measure and cut using hand or power tools or machines such as pipe cutters.

Estimate time, material, or labor costs for use in project plans.

Install underground sanitary, or water piping systems, extending piping as needed to connect fixtures

and plumbing.

Inspect structures to assess material or equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe

installations, or to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.

Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings, using hand or power tools.

Recommend new products, such as faucets, water-saving toilets, or high-efficiency hot water heater

that meet federal regulations.

Perform domestic plumbing inspections to identify ways in which customers might reduce

consumption of water or energy.

Basic electrical abilities to wiring electric water heaters, pumps, and garbage disposals.

Operation of a company vehicle is expected to be done so in a safe manner.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Plumbing certification: or Work Equivalent

Experience: 3 plus years of experience in plumbing trade
