Accountemps has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. In this position, you will be required to manage all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. You will work closely and report to the Accounting Manager. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. How you will make an impact

  • Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
  • Provide support to internal business partners
  • Produce full-cycle A/P
  • Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
  • Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
  • Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
  • Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
  • Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Foundational knowledge in testing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable
  • Proficiency in bank reconciliations
  • Proven knowledge of Oracle
  • Experience with Ariba
  • Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
  • Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
