Overview:
Support the planning and coordination of market initiatives and operational programs related to Medicare Risk Adjustment. Lead local initiatives and support teams engaged in risk adjustment analytics, patient outreach, documentation integrity, clinician education and tools, and enterprise audits.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Program management of multiple initiatives and activities
Defines, implements, leads and measures processes from start to finish.
Ensures program deliverables, metrics measurement, and success criteria achieved.
Supports market patient engagement, outreach, provider education programs to facilitate comprehensive health assessments.
Coordinates implementation of programs designed to ensure all diagnosed codes and conditions are properly supported by appropriate documentation in patient charts.
Oversees clinician chart audit activities and coordinates operational aspects of clinical chart reviews.
Develop executive level materials and effectively present to executive audiences.
Develops strategic messaging and communication plans in partnership with Directors and others for each initiative.
Participates in the development and creation of training materials (e.g., job aids, presentations, etc.).
Develop and maintain operational workflows and timelines.
Delivers training to various teammates and other stakeholders with fluency and credibility, facilitating a necessary understanding of key objectives.
Assesses, responds and reacts to CMS and/or internal mandates to ensure compliance and programmatic success.
Synthesizes complex programs and clearly communicates them to a wide range of stakeholders.
Analyzes patient and clinician data to monitor performance, validate outcomes, and identify improvement opportunities.
Reviews CMS documents related to risk adjustment, synthesizes findings, and formulates recommendations.
Uncovers insights from analyses that can be leveraged strategically, clinically or operationally.
Attends internal team meetings and calls to ensure alignment around program objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification requiring formal education beyond a two-year college.
Degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology or Health Care Administration.
PMP certification from a PMI-recognized qualified educator.
Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
Over 5 years and up to and including 7 years of experience.
6 years project management experience.
10 to 15 years of professional work experience in Information Technology, business processes or group healthcare.

Preferred:
5 to 7 years of project management experience.
3 to 5 years of supervisory experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Computer literate.
Strong PC-based business software skills (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio) and other business tools.
Strong ability to collaborate with senior leadership and other department directors/managers to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery of service and products.
Demonstrated skills working on and managing a variety of complex projects, designing solutions and handling direct customer contact.
Strong leadership, mentoring and organizational skills.
Ability to manage the entire program team including other Senior Project managers, Project Managers, Project Leads, Facilitators, subject matter experts and consultants.
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work well with individuals in all levels of the organization as well as with external vendors and consultants.
Ability to perform as an effective leader and team player in a highly-collaborative environment.
Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter.
Ability to function with no supervision.
Ability to prioritize all activities under the program.
