The Editor/Video Specialist is a new and key role on the marketing communications team on the consumer team. They’ll be responsible for creating marketing videos for websites, social media channels, and more. This includes the planning, shooting, post-production and distribution of all video content. Responsible for creating dynamic and innovative content for multiple distribution channels from concept through completion while meeting quality, aesthetics, and creative specifications. Must have the ability to take on multiple projects simultaneously while delivering all projects within budgetary and timeline parameters.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Expert in video production (filming, editing, audio)
Assists in the development of storyboards, script supervision, directing talent and monitoring for visual consistency
Move and assemble product as needed, camera equipment, and lighting between shots
Function as camera operator or video editor on select projects as directed
Collaborate with team on set design, may require some handy skills to alter set as needed
Have a good eye and can edit and enhance footage
Can organize, edit and color grade footage to create compelling video content
Work in collaboration with the communications team to produce a variety of video products for use
Record and process audio for voice-overs and sound effects
Mix sound effects, music and voice-overs for finished video
Help organize and create assets for use in all videos
Help manage storage, setup, and maintenance of all studio equipment
Knowledge in social media, videography and video editing.
Perform other duties deemed necessary to support the Company’s business operations

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Background operating a variety of different cameras, lenses and support equipment.
Expert at lighting techniques, flagging and diffusion.
Experience providing content that supports marketing campaigns across web and social media channels: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Ability to tell a story and communicate complex ideals through visual medium
Experience rigging sets including painting, assembly and basic construction.
Not afraid to tackle tasks outside of current job description and skills.
Able to take direction from multiple individuals.
Experience directing talent.
Exhibit a sense of creativity in terms of visual presentation.
Can visualize a concept into a storyboard and final product.
A film reel of relevant work is required for consideration.
Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree, Certificate or 2 years of relevant experience
1+ years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite software or equivalent
1+ years of experience with digital media production, editing and distribution
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for most the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Comfortable using general tools and power tools to perform product set-up and demonstrations as needed
General office environment
May require regular ground travel to other company facilities
Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 10% travel
