Bancroft Architects +Engineers is a full-service architect and engineering firm with a broad portfolio of experience in providing planning, architecture, engineering and construction management services.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with 3-7 years of professional relevant experience in the A/E industry. This individual shall be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop and Sketch Up software products. Experience in Revit is a must. It is imperative that this individual be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good communicator. A person in this position will experience all aspects of the architectural process, including conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration.
The position of an Architect II includes responsibilities which steer career growth toward becoming a registered architect. This individual will work directly with design professionals to solve architectural design challenges, be knowledgeable in materials and construction methods, and assemble full sets of construction documents. Career development is encouraged, and the opportunity to participate in all aspects of a project will be provided. The ability to use common architectural tools including AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Word, Excel and MS Project will be required.

Responsibilities of this position include:
Participate in meetings and general communication with project teams to identify requirements and develop statements of program, as assigned.
Conduct field work including measurements of existing conditions, etc.
Assist in preparing preliminary plans based on programmatic requirements.
Assist in the development of project programs, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Drawing and Construction Administration support as needed.
Assemble detailed design and construction documents.
Participate in the review of construction shop drawings, as needed.
Provide support to Staff Architects and Engineers and other administrators on special projects.
Assist in preparation (as needed) of marketing materials and the development, production and coordination of these items.
Perform other related duties, as assigned.
