Systems Engineer II
Fort Meade, MD
Perspecta is looking for a Systems Engineer to support USCYBERCOM JMOC.
Assist with strategic planning, policy, synchronization, migration planning, security planning
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support
Demonstrate experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
Display excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Be proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suite of application
Designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems throughout their lifecycle.
Gathers, validates, and manages requirements.
Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
Participates in system conceptual design and documentation.
Supports establishing system specifications and collaborates with engineering teams to develop systems.
Supports design reviews and test plans/procedures execution.
Active TS/SCI level clearance
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 8 yrs of experience, or a Master's with 6 yrs of experience.
Current Information Assurance Technical (IAT)-II or higher certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH) and current Computing Environment certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
8+ years of experience working in a Linux environment
