The position is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager in all facilities operations and maintenance support on Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Air Field (HAAF). Ensures all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved. Provides expert direction and guidance to subordinates, develops schedules, and formulates work plans. Responsible for insuring compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures, including but not limited to: safety, property accountability, employee training, and business processes. Is a point of contact for project site personnel, customers, and the corporate office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Over sees daily operations of the facility assigned
Provide support to Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager, and provide updates and reports on work status and issues.
Work with counterpart APM, supervisors, leads and employees to provide support, information, changes and assistance as needed.
Plans and coordinates work, trains, motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of employees.
Oversees work schedules, authorizes leave requests, approves time sheets, and ensures adequate manpower per shop to meet work standards.
Provides cost estimates for IJO’s and tracks work of IJO’s and FRAGO. Addresses issues that may occur with work of sub-contractors.
Oversees warranty issues between Tsay and Department of Public Works (DPW). Schedule water outages between Tsay and DPW. Work with various members of DPW to resolve any issues of quality, schedule or types of work being performed.
Reviews and authorizes purchase requests and purchase orders.
Track service orders and resolve issues with overdue service orders.
Research and answer ICE complaints.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years operations experience in Human Resources, Financial Resources, Facility Repair & Maintenance, Contract Management, and Report Presentations. Minimum of one (1) year as the DPM on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract greater than $10 million per year. Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Engineering
Successful candidate must have, or be capable of obtaining, a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Clearance. Must be able to obtain security clearance for use of government computer.
