Priority will be given to ABA therapists with their RBT certification and with at least one year of experience working in homes or schools with children with autism.
Experienced Behavior Technicians without the RBT certification may apply and must be willing to complete the RBT certification within 6 months.
The starting hourly rate is based on years of experience and RBT status. Non-RBTs may start at a lower rate and receive an increase after RBT certification.
We offer paid cancelations, generous time off, and professional development opportunities. We provide free BACB fieldwork supervision to employees who are ABA graduate students.
Schedule:
- Full time (30 hours) hours available with sessions scheduled between 8:30 am - 6 pm Monday through Friday.
- Part time (10 - 20 hours) schedules are also available
- Weekly clinical team meetings and supervision meetings
- weekends not required
- flexible options based on client availability
Responsibilities include:
- Provide compassionate care and social engagement to children as you implement 1:1 ABA programming in their homes, child care centers, and schools
- Provide exceptional service and empathetic communication to parents, teachers, and other caregivers.
- Maintain child safety and provide proactive and responsive behavioral supports
- Follow detailed behavior support plans and teaching procedures provided by the BCBA
- Follow procedures to promote client communication, self-advocacy, engagement, play, and social interactions
- Accurately record behavioral data and write professional session notes
- Assist the BCBA in preparing and organizing program materials
- Collaborate with your team and supervisors to provide the best possible care
The employee MUST be ready to immediately and consistently meet the physical requirements necessary to interact effectively with active children and maintain their physical safety such as the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and sit on the floor for extended periods of time, frequently and quickly run, frequently and quickly get up and down to the floor, and repeatedly and quickly move in and out of the following positions: kneel, bend, turn/twist, reach, crouch, squat, and other positions appropriate to play and maintaining safety with children.
