Maintain and repair diesel and gas-powered fleet trucks.

Service and repair heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes.

Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks.
-
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
-
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
-
Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services.
-
Assist with emergency breakdowns and road service calls.

Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required

Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues

Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions

Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts

Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts

Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown

Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance

Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment and brake checks
-
Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
-
Preform and maintain DOT inspection compliance on fleet vehicles and trailers
-
Minimum 3 years of experience working on gas and diesel engines, heavy equipment.

Certification in Automotive or Diesel Technology is a plus.

Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
