The Systems Design Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). Are You Ready To Engineer a Safer World? The System of System (SoS) Department is seeking engineering professionals to be part of the System Engineering teams that design and develop world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems programs in Tewksbury, MA . System Engineers in this position will be responsible for control account management for systems engineering tasks, analysis of program performance through the use of productivity metrics, and development of robust proposals for future programs. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with multi-discipline development teams across multiple locations to support assigned programs and products.
This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics and 4(+) years of experience in the field of engineering or a related technical discipline
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Detail oriented self-starter who can function independently
Strong analytical background
Good communications skills, with the ability to develop, document, and maintain processes, methods and tools
Enthusiastic proponent of metrics-based management with a passion for excellence
Prior experience with Department of Defense Radar Design and Development Programs
Certification in Earned Value Management
Experience in developing bases of estimate for engineering labor proposals
Knowledge of and ability to work within the Agile Scrum development practice
Existing DoD Security Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related discipline.
