GP Mobile, a T-Mobile Premium Retailer is looking for energetic Sales Director to join our fast growing team. As a Sales Director, you’ll oversee the overall operation of retail stores within an assigned Division overseeing District Managers. The Sales Director is tasked with developing and coaching District Managers to ensure the retail stores are providing the best sales and service environment for our customers to exceed sales goals. The Sales Director is also in charge of the operational functions of the stores they oversee including daily paperwork, inventory loss, and shrink in the retail stores.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for 7 District Managers – Dallas Ft. Worth (2), Central Texas (1), East Texas (1), West Texas (1), OKC (1), Kansas (1)
  • Drives future growth of GP Mobile through effective recruitment, selection and on-boarding of District Managers
  • Holds District team and self-accountable to all GP Mobile and T-Mobile standards of performance and behavior
  • Travels within each District coaching and developing District Managers on sales and operational execution in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana
  • Identifies, develops and leverages existing talent to support company growth
  • Partners with VP to continually improve and provide a quality on-boarding experience for all sales representatives
  • Directly manages labor hours for respective Division
  • Maximizes store team performance through consistent and effective coaching and feedback during stores visits
  • Drives the Company’s performance management processes throughout the District Managers
  • Partners with VP to create individual development plans that support performance needs and career growth for self and direct reports
  • Resolves escalated performance and customer service issues
  • Provides direction to District team to ensure financial goals are met
  • Provides input to VP for hours budgeted per store (sales vs. payroll)
  • Effectively utilizes reports to analyze business trends for Divisional stores
  • Teaches District how to create a superior customer experience within the store environment
  • Effectively recruits, hires, and retains top tier talent in all levels of the Division
  • Manages and coaches the District Managers in the Division
  • Ensures training is taking place at all levels with District
  • Works with store manager on interviewing skills with a focus on hiring high caliber candidates
  • Monitors and controls all aspects of T-Mobile operational compliance
  • Executes on GP Mobile and T-Mobile key performance indicators in order to drive future organic and non-organic growth
  • Responsible for site rides with District Managers each week
  • Responsible for leading District Managers in identifying areas of opportunity within their District and putting plans in place to improve key financial and business metrics
  • Will spend 1 to 2 days in the office while all other days are spent in the field coaching and developing District Managers in the field; Monday’s mandatory (unless monthly inventory is being conducted, which is replaced on Tuesday’s of that week) and other day is optional
  • Hosts quarterly Business Reviews for District Managers
  • Identifies and holds team responsible for operational aspects of the business from inventory loss to daily paperwork
  • Ensures inventory discrepancies, CAM credits, and other operational items within the Division are improved
  • Provides succession planning for all levels of the organization.
  • Meets with T-Mobile counterparts and participate in GP Mobile quarterly planning sessions
  • Produce weekly feedback to VP and ownership around weekly success/opportunities in the market
  • Communicates operational needs of the business to VP and Operations Manager to resolve observed opportunities
  • Plans out monthly schedule in advance to optimize travel budget

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of multi-unit sales management experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team
  • Well developed planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Successful track record of effective sales techniques
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary: $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 /year
