Reports To: eCommerce Manager

Department: Finance

Position Description: Creates and logs entries to General Ledgers and supporting accounts of the company. This position creates a record for all company transactions. Issues payments as needed from A/P. Monitors all A/R transactions for discrepancies, and fixes entry errors as needed. Trains on various software programs used by ATV Parts Connection. Works with outside vendors to provide services as needed. Analyzes trends and company spending habits, and reports findings to manager. Responsible for accepting, processing, and filing incoming mail. Assists with call overflow when needed.

Qualifications: Associate degree in related field, bookkeeping experience (2-3 years), computer literate, fluent with MS Office, attention to detail, can meet deadlines

Preferred: Knowledge of QuickBooks, ChannelAdvisor eCommerce platform, Acctivate inventory management software

Position Goals

  • Correctly record daily A/R
  • Correctly record daily A/P entries and issue timely payments
  • Reconcile all accounts monthly against financial statements
  • File and pay sales tax with respective state governments
  • Create and present weekly and monthly financial reports
  • Assist with office internal operations

Objective

  • Record deposits daily (against financial reports for accuracy)
  • Monitor daily sales to ensure applicable sales tax is applied
  • File state sales and use tax where applicable
  • Process credit memos as needed
  • Issue checks/ credit card refunds to satisfy credit memos
  • Process daily credit card authorizations
  • Reconcile all accounts monthly against financial statements and reports
  • Work with outside accountants when needed to close month end
  • Record vendor payments and receipts
  • Maintain commitments to all vendors
  • Encourage the open exchange of ideas to provide greater efficiency
  • Work toward advancement/ improvement of skillset
  • Answer overflow calls to assist sales/ management
  • Maintain office filing system
  • Assist management with ad hoc projects as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 to $21.00 /hour
