Work you’ll do
As a Manager within our practice you will:
- Advise clients and enhance their strategic risk awareness in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management and grants management
- Integrate use of technology-based risk assessment tools or methodologies to review, design and implement solutions
- Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects
- Contribute to the development and cultivation of business and vendor relationships
- As a technical or functional advisor, work extensively with the management of the project to guide efforts that address the client’s needs
- Serve as a “Subject Matter Expert”, adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue
- Display leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
- Identify opportunities for other Deloitte service offerings that can address client needs
- Responsible for managing solutions, delegating resources, and helping to ensure quality assurance principles are met across projects and deliverables
- Provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff
- Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

Our Strategic Risk Team provides analysis and assessment of critical risk factors that can impact our Government and Public Services client’s operations and overall environment. We help our clients navigate these complex risk factors in the areas of enterprise risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, and grants management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Geography, Geospatial Intelligence or related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas - risk management, geospatial analytics, crisis management, or grants management
- 3+ years in a technical or functional lead role
- Proficiency in the Esri ArcGIS suite of software (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
- Experience mentoring and coaching others
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience managing senior-level client relationships
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
- Graduate degree
- One of more relevant certifications
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Enterprise (Server / Portal) and Server extensions including Insights for ArcGIS, GeoAnalytics Server and GeoEvent Server
