Full Job Description
The Senior Auditor position exists to help T-Mobile develop a World Class Retail Organization. The Auditor provides stewardship by evaluating risks and controls within the retail environment to assure the highest level of operational efficiency. The Senior Auditor is a trusted advisor to multiple levels of retail field management and various business departments regarding retail controls and processes that have been identified as risks or control gaps. The Senior Auditor also provides additional guidance and input to the retail auditing process on a strategic basis for improving the business.
Organize and conduct quality audits and reports using the Risk Management Retail Audit.
Schedule and conduct regular audit reviews with store management.
Assess and partner with senior field leadership on assignment, mitigation strategy and timing of identified issues in direct support of Regional VP.
Active support of senior field leadership in partner compliance to T-Mobile's contractual and operational guidelines.
Serves as a consulting and subject matter expert on department-wide assignments by adding value and identifying gaps to drive a better outcome through knowledge and experiences.
Maintain an excellent and efficient working relationship with field leadership.
Perform additional reporting as required to assist various business departments.
Meet and exceed quarterly goals that service our customers, improve the audit process, and develop skills.
Perform presentations to large groups either in person or via conference call/WebEx.
Report Fraud and Asset Protection issues to appropriate departments.
Timely travel and submit expenses booking.
Provide additional support training to auditors as needed.
Work on assigned tactical/strategic projects as needed.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and be accountable for overall department deliverables.
2+ years Retail Store Management or equivalent outside audit experience
2+ years retail store audit experience
Bachelor's degree required
MS Word and Excel skills.
Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting issues, observations, and recommendations.
Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information, identifying risks and impacts, and drawing logical conclusions.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Ability to travel ~50% of the time.
