Reports to Business Development Planning Manager to provide assistance with financial related activities for capital construction projects and capital purchases. Will assist in obtaining state agency pre-approvals before projects begin. Functions as a liaison between General Financial Services and Capital Programs to obtain capital construction project state reporting. Maintains accurate project financial records, provides database management, and reconciles transactions or discrepancies related to all capital projects and purchases. Complete Department of Budget authorization to spend capital funds requests. Interface with various State agencies including DOB and SUCF to have the appropriated capital made available for hospital projects. Asset management responsibilities including account reconciliation, account status reporting, account coding, and account close out for capital projects. Play a key role in the ongoing capital budgeting process including ensuring accuracy of capital requests, assisting in capital workflow review, providing accurate reporting of capital requests and approved capital, and reconciling approved capital requests in the Capital Management Database, StrataCap.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field and 2 years of relevant finance experience plus excellent organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills required. Strong MS Excel experience preferred.
