What success looks like in this role:
Software Engineer Co-ops will be involved in some phases of the product development life cycle from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and support. The candidate will work on development efforts of gradually increasing scope through the usage of standard programming concepts and principles. This is a great position for individuals who are interested in system level programming and developing exciting, leading–edge technology for the world’s largest enterprises.
Learn existing platform, operating system, networking or security products
Research ways to improve software and/or system performance
Perform testing to determine viability of new approaches
Implement, Test and Document approved approaches
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in a Bachelor’s of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline
Experience working with one or more major programming languages
Strong programming skills
Strong knowledge of and interest in computer architecture and skills
Strong software debugging and problem solving skills
