Manage day to day network/server infrastructure, support desk, data/telecommunication and operations.
Identify and manage emerging information technology opportunities and risk to ensure the credit union is well positioned to capitalize on systems, automation, and infrastructure.
Ensuring capacity, availability, security, recoverability, and continuous improvement of the credit unions systems infrastructure.
Ensures all Credit Union systems have appropriate backup plans in place and are being followed
Responsible for overall disaster recovery management of site and relationship
Ensure that DCU’s recovery strategies are in sync with DCU’s risk assessment and BIA’s
Develop a formal process for reviewing, revising and testing DCU’s BCP and the underlying recovery strategies and processes. This would include assist/manage and develop test plans for each business area (to include RPO and RTO’s) and ensure all critical and significant systems are tested at proper levels.
Ensure the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures within areas of responsibility and that these procedures are written, communicated and followed.
Support DCU's departments and managers in the adoption and implementation of Systems, Applications and Technology to meet and exceed business requirements.
Manage third-party solution providers to ensure smooth adoption and operation of technology solutions.
Acquire, train, and develop technical staff.
Coordinate internal and external resources as required to provide efficient and timely solution for each DCU project.
Perform annual reviews of all direct reports and feedback on indirect reports
Support and maintain quality service to our internal and external customers
Maintains a high level of confidentially in regards to sensitive information
Manage and maintain within the team a high level of customer satisfaction and high service levels, both internal and external
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
5+ years of credit union information systems management experience -BS in Information Systems Technology or related areas preferred -Knowledge of AIX, Windows Server, TCP/IP Networks, relational databases, and credit union data processing systems desired
Must be able to work independently in fact finding with little direction and supervision.
Possess a creative approach, must be able to take a concept, develop the strategy and define/implement project.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and directives.
Requires BA/BS in business, computer science, or related area.
Credit Union or banking experience is a plus. .
Education and Experience Requirements:
BA in Computer Science/Information Systems or similar, or equivalent work experience.
5+ Years IT Management experience.
3+ Years Financial Institution Management experience, preferred.
Understanding of information security architecture, processes, concepts, and best practices.
Knowledge of common FI, information security and IT methodologies, frameworks, and regulations, such as NIST, FFIEC, GLBA, PCI.
Experience with business continuity and IT disaster recovery frameworks.
Knowledge of firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection/intrusion prevention systems, vulnerability scanning, virtual private networks, remote access systems, network zoning, centralized monitoring, virtual and physical server and workstation configuration, patching, mobile device management, and application scanning.
Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux, AIX/DB2, and network protocols such as, TCP/UDP, SNMP, SMTP, HTTPS, TLS/SSL, Certificate Management, and Cloud Security configurations and challenges.
Knowledge of technological trends and developments in the area of information security and risk management; Ability to quickly grasp how new technologies work and how they might be applied to achieve business goals.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a team, delivering high performance and customer satisfaction.
Strong facilitation, communication and presentation skills and a clear ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders at all levels, including executive managers and vendors.
Strong, proven problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion.
Moderate travel may be required on an as needed basis
