This is a VP of Business Development opportunity for Xperi's Invensas subsidiary, which creates advanced packaging and interconnect technologies used to deliver some of the world’s most compact, high performance semiconductor solutions for the global mobile, consumer and data center markets.

This person will bring with them a proven track record of driving deals and customer engagements from start to finish in the same or similar industry.

In this role, we will expect that you will successfully:
Take over existing customer accounts as well as bring in new customers by effectively assessing and filtering through opportunities and making decisions on which accounts to focus on to drive revenue in the near and longer term.
Work through complex negotiations and drive to them to successful closure
Work collaboratively with members of the sales, marketing, and engineering teams

You bring with you:
10+ years’ sales or business development experience in semiconductor technology or a related field with a proven record of developing, negotiating and closing large deals including large, complex contract negotiations
An established set of contacts and relationships and an understanding of at least one the following areas: semiconductors (e.g. image sensors, DRAM, NAND, MEMS, display drivers, RF devices, SoCs), semiconductor processes. semiconductor packaging, mobile computing, smartphones, IoTs, cloud computing, and data centers
A technical background or a strong working knowledge of the technologies you've represented; strong IP licensing experience is a huge plus
Strong direct and remote sales skills. Must be extremely comfortable engaging and developing relationships with senior-level executives at large international public companies
Demonstrated ability to develop new business plans and strategies resulting in new or increased market penetration and key account success
Excellent customer facing skills including the ability to introduce new technology platforms and the ability to tailor and sell technologies and IP
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A proven approach and mentality that is smart, creative, driven and diligent with a sense of urgency
Minimum BS degree in a technology discipline or a minimum 10 years experience in related field
Ability to travel 30-50%, often internationally
