The Distribution Associate II will interact with the WMS, TMS, RF scanning and/or other warehouse equipment to perform a variety of tasks in accordance with defined job processes. They will perform these tasks with a focus on safety, quality and productivity. They must comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. The Distribution Associate II is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance the work process and environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The daily responsibilities will be dependent on the area assigned. Distribution Associate II will perform a variety of distribution tasks in accordance with defined job processes to ensure daily objectives are met. Tasks can include pick, pack, manifest, receive, put-away, replenishment, QC check and international shipment consolidation. Many of these tasks will require the use of WMS, TMS, RF and/or other warehouse equipment.

Distribution Associate II will perform other distribution tasks as needed. These tasks can include use of forklifts, product and package visual inspection, set assembly, returns processing, auditing product location, auditing personnel and processes, entering data into Excel or database and cycle counting.

Performs other related duties as required

Scope of Position Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing assigned distribution activity. They will participate in a team environment to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of distribution services that meets or exceed customer’s and business expectation in support of a $3 Billion Medical Device company. They will carry out their responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

For Internal and External Relationships:
There will be daily internal contact with Distribution Associate III, Coordinator and/or Team Leader of the assigned Distribution Center activity with little contact with other departments.

REQUIREMENTS

High Diploma required.
Previous distribution/logistics experience is highly desirable.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Demonstrate good math, counting, reading and good communication skills (verbal & write legibly). The work environment is a warehouse setting at a Distribution Center. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen. The employee must also be able to stand; twist, bend, lift, walk and drive lift truck equipment on a repetitive basis on a concrete floor. The employee must be able to lift or move 75 pounds. Employee must be able to follow directions and complete assigned task accurately and according to established productivity standards. Demonstrate team work and ability to contribute positively to the moral of the team. Demonstrate sense of urgency, commitment and responsiveness to customer needs and business opportunities.
