Palm Harbor Homes is currently looking for Painters to work in our Plant City Plant. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Knowledge of commercial painting equipment and techniques
Experience using brushes, rollers and spray rigs
Knowledge of basic hand tools used in painting
Paint materials and hand sand as needed
Remove any exposed fixtures and/or additional items in work area prior to performing work
Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other filler
Erects scaffolding or sets up ladders to perform tasks above ground level
Apply coats of pain, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer
Transport materials from racks to paint tables
Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed
Maintain a good attendance record as it is critical for success
Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Skilled to handle and use these items: Assorted wood pieces, paint/spray guns, sand paper, wrap and banding
1-2 years' painting experience
Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
Work with a safety conscious outlook
