Why Furious Spoon?

Executive Chef Shin Thompsonopened his first Furious Spoon, a Tokyo-style ramen shop, in February of 2015with the help of restaurateur Anshul Mangal. Inspired by his grandfather’sramen shop in Hokkaido, Japan, Chef Thompson invites his guests to experience amore “true to life” ramen experience, serving handmade noodles and encouragingdiners to slurp them furiously. With subtle nods to Japanese culture, FuriousSpoon showcases a hip-hop playlist, local graffiti art and a communal diningexperience. The menu features four core ramen flavors in addition to seasonalflavor varieties that allow Chef Thompson to creatively re-imagine thetraditional Japanese dish.
