Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm from
May 26, 2020 through August 6, 2020

DEPARTMENT AND POSITION SUMMARY:
The Americares Finance Department is responsible for the company’s financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, treasury and analysis. The Accounting Department supports senior management and other departments by providing reports to evaluate the Company’s results.
This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will take skills acquired in school related to his or her areas of interest and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the role that Finance can play in a non-profit setting and be better prepared to work in the arena of accounting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete all bank reconciliations accurately and timely
Prepare Account Analysis and assist with Accounts Payable and Month End and Year End closing process
Special projects and ad hoc reports and analysis
Long Term Projects:
Year End Audit supporting schedules

Strong Communication Skills

Current undergraduate student, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting
