Reports to MAAP Manager and is responsible for decisions for loans in a timely manner. In doing so, helps to generates a major portion of the Credit Union’s operating income and can enhance the Credit Union’s image as a member-oriented service facility to our partner dealers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and underwrite loans for our partner dealers. Must maintain a specified level of performance.
Has a thorough knowledge of GECU loan policies and current interest rates and can discuss various loan alternatives with the members and our partner dealers.
Ensures that while reviewing each application that all information is filled out completely and that all necessary information is gathered to provide the best possible decision to our partner dealers.
Must be proficient in common office technology including computers, copiers, fax and telephone.
Must understand and comply with all required federal and state regulations associated with this position.
Knowledge of credit reports and how to read them.
Communicates with dealers.
Has the authority to approve loans under specific criteria.
Must be able to speak and understand fluent English
Perform other duties as assigned.
