Performs complex administrative support work. Work involves disseminating information and assisting in reviewing, updating, and organizing agency records. Performs internal administrative support work. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Prepares and disseminates information concerning agency programs and procedures to include information regarding state records.
Organizes, indexes, and classifies legal and administrative documents.
Prepares, edits, and distributes correspondence to include a variety of legal documentation pertaining to dockets, hearings, and final orders.
Performs general office duties to include scanning, indexing, and classifying documents.
Prepares documents using Microsoft products and Adobe Professional on a daily basis.
Maintains record-keeping and filing systems and assists in organizing documentation.
Gathers information to help with the identification of records to ensure correct categorized for records retention.
Responds to inquiries and explains rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Compiles and enters data for databases, summaries, and/or dockets.
Assists with setting up and utilizing records management systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent.
Three years' experience in administrative positions, requiring expertise in office practices and procedures, legal principles, or administrative support.
Experience in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe or database software programs.
College credit may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Demonstrable knowledge of record keeping systems and data base management.
Demonstrable knowledge of general office practices, basic writing, grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and arithmetical applications.
Knowledge of legal practices and terminology.
Demonstrable skill in the use of computers and office equipment.
Skill in the use of reference materials.
Skill in the use of Windows, Microsoft Office products, including MS Word and MS Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Professional.
Ability to use an automated case management system.
Ability to maintain files and records.
Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and accurately, orally and in writing.
Ability to work effectively with SOAH employees.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work tasks and communicate work deadlines.
Ability to analyze problems, develop practical solutions, and perform accurate detailed work.
Ability to train others.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
