The Contract Analyst is responsible for coordinating the contracting process from inception to execution. The Contract Analyst is responsible for establishing and maintaining a database listing all contract Riverside Community Hospital holds and for establishing and maintaining a contract filing system. The Contract Analyst should be able to perform the job including, but not limited to: an ability to analyze, problem solve, and reason; an ability to assess and evaluate; an ability to work independently; an ability to maintain confidentiality.
The Contract Analyst should be a self-starter and be self-motivated; have the skills necessary to give attention to details; and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Reports To: CEO, CFO
Contracts Administrator FT/Days No Weekends Contracts Administration
A college degree in Business Administration is preferred, but will accept executive level support experience in lieu of education.
Advanced courses in office management/database application/contract preparation is desired.
Minimum of five years administrative/executive support
Experience in health care field preferred.
Knowledge of contracting process, healthcare contracting experience preferred. Knowledge of corporate compliance. Strong computer skills and database management experience.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Must be able to speak and communicate in English clearly.
Ability to converse clearly on the telephone.
Ability to write legibly, clearly and concisely.
General knowledge of Stark Law, regulation and corporate policies related to physician and vendor contracting.
