Responsible for providing superior guest service both internally and externally. Assists (guests) with merchandise selection, performs and records retail transactions, and assists with receiving, pricing, display, merchandising, and inventory of Gift Gallery stock. Maintains a professional and welcoming environment that will establish guest loyalty and increase revenue for the Gift Gallery and Resort as a whole.

Greets all guests with enthusiasm and a smile, welcomes them to the Gift Gallery, offers help, and assists with special requests.

Connects with guests by asking open-ended questions to assess guest needs and offering appropriate suggestions.
Assists guests by providing solutions that best meet or exceed their needs.
Consistently treats all guests and Team Members with respect and contributes to a positive work environment.
Performs and accurately records retail transactions including cash, credit card, gift certificates, (gift cards,) and Players Club ACRES comp.
Processes transactions accurately and maintains cash drawer variances to a minimum.
Uses thorough product knowledge to assist guests with merchandise selection.
Assists with pricing and displaying inventory.
Ensures that the Gift Gallery remains neat and organized, with items off the floor and out of the walkways at all times.
Assists with the receiving and checking in of new merchandise and recording inventory transactions accurately.
Maintains thorough knowledge of all current and upcoming events and promotions.
Ensures that internal and external suggestions, concerns and complaints are referred promptly and professionally to management.
Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department. Communicates problems or situations to the supervisor for appropriate resolution.
Maintains confidential information in verbal, written and electronic information. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

High School Diploma or a GED Certificate required.
1-3 year’s experience in a retail environment that processed cash and credit card transactions required.
1 year of accredited Guest Service Training preferred, or 2 years guest service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
18 years of age or older.
Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and guest relation skills.
Ability to work Point of Sales Systems with the appropriate training.
Able to handle cash and credit card transactions in an accurate manner.
Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Documented completion of the OLCC’s “Promoting Responsible Alcohol Sales and Service” quiz.
Must have the ability to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
Employee must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).
