Job Description:
A plumber apprentice works under licensed plumbers to install plumbing systems, make repairs, and diagnose minor plumbing issues in both residential and commercial applications.
Typical jobs include the following: Drain cleaning, remove and install faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, water lines, drain and supply lines. Remove and install sump pumps. Remove and install water heaters and softeners. Occasional remodel jobs - remove and install bathroom tubs/showers, sink and cabinets, kitchen sink and cabinets; and all other job duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a team to complete work and repair orders in a timely manner
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory in vehicles
- Load & unload tools and other equipment needed for each job
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, shop, and job sites
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plumbing and maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Applicants must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
