Minimum qualifications:
6 years of experience in product management, consulting, investment banking and/or business development.
Experience interpreting legal documents and collaborating with attorneys to draft contract language. Experience working in the internet or consumer hardware space.
Ability to travel up to 20% internationally.
Ability to speak and write in Korean or Chinese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of, or passion for consumer electronics and the mobile value chain.
Demonstrated quantitative and analytical mindset; comfortable digging deep into data writing SQL queries.
Ability to operate independently, with a high attention to detail and to function effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
Effective communicator in written and verbal form; ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels with various functions.
Ability to speak and write in Korean or Chinese fluently and idiomatically.
About the job
As a member of the Business team on the Android Platform - Mobile group, you'll help grow and develop Android - leading growth, distribution, and strategic product partnerships. In this role, you will work closely with the Android Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams on cross-functional efforts to drive growth of the Android platform and lead distribution of Google machine intelligence and mobile services through the Android platform.

Tactically, you'll be responsible for identifying key industry trends, serving as the voice of your partner and identify unique collaboration opportunities with them, and finally, be able to follow through with execution of business development efforts to transform opportunity into action. You will lead the full business stack - from developing the upfront strategy, gaining internal executive buy-in, and finally, onboarding and leading the rollout of programs and initiatives with partners.

Your primary focus will be on Android handheld devices (smartphones, tablets) but you will also frequently collaborate with colleagues in Android TV, Wear, Things and Auto. You will also closely engage with other product areas (Assistant, Search, Photos, AR/VR, Search, Communications) to help drive Google product distribution and growth through the Android Platform.

Lead the full business stack - build relationships with partners, lead exploratory talks, build consensus with senior executives internal and external to Google.
Ability to identify industry trends and prioritize partners’ and Google’s opportunities and create new initiative(s), and build consensus (and buy-in) with senior executives internally and externally.
Scale out and implement new Android initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and with partners.
Contribute to the distribution of Google products via the Android platform.
