Legal Administrator

Top tier transactional entertainment law firm, is looking for an Administrator to manage our team of 7 lawyers and 6 staff. You will be responsible for the firm’s day-to-day financial functions, staff management, and operations management. The position also oversees the firm’s IT functions and its Billing department. The position reports to the firm’s Partners.

Must possess excellent financial and bookkeeping skills. This is a managerial position and requires knowledge of California labor laws.

Required Skills:

  • Four plus years of law firm administration.
  • Ability to effectively manage staff including conflict resolution counseling and coaching.
  • Experience with law firm financials including thorough knowledge of QuickBooks.
  • Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and WorlDox. A general knowledge of TimeSlips is preferable.
  • Ability to manage IT in partnership with our IT consultant.
  • Ability to work with the building, insurance brokers, bankers and vendors.
  • Thorough knowledge of risk management procedures including Conflict Checks.
  • Management of payroll processing through ADP and staff PTO
  • Benefits administration and liaison with brokers and TPA
  • Knowledge of California labor laws.
  • Event planning

Required Education:

Educational Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other closely related field preferred and minimum of 4 years of legal office administration.

Salary: competitive compensation package including excellent benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $78,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
