The Pratt & Whitney F135 team is seeking an experienced individual to support the ALIS Development Program Management Office (PMO) bringing new or enhanced propulsion functionality to the F-35’s Autonomic Logistic Information System (ALIS). This highly visible, fast paced and dynamic role will report directly to the F135 ALIS Associate Director of Development, responsible for creation and management of integrated project plans leading to successful development, test and deployment of future ALIS software versions delivered to the fleet. This position will require close collaboration and routine partnering with internal Pratt & Whitney teams, as well as external JPO & Lockheed Martin development, sustainment and engineering teams, to execute and meet task deliverables on time. The successful candidate will also provide coverage for the F135 ALIS Associate Director of Development, providing day-to-day guidance to East Hartford teams and support for senior level reviews.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Lead overall effort to create, coordinate and track integrated project plan • Lead internal P&W team in the execution of project plan to support key program milestones (OBPHM engineering, Testers, Supply Chain, Support Equipment, Engineering, Sustainment Field Ops, Tech Management, CSE-OBPHM, DTA, etc.) • Coordinate / Capture handoffs and dependencies with Lockheed Martin, Rolls Royce, UTAS, etc. • Support and lead the C2D2 study for flight test migration from legacy systems to MXi, then ALIS • Ensure milestones are achieved on time and deliverables completed per agreed to timelines • Represent P&W in external reviews with government customers and Lockheed Martin • Represent ALIS development needs, providing regular updates to the F135 ALIS Associate Director and F135 Program Leadership • Keep PMO and Sustainment management teams abreast of emerging issues • Work w/CAMs to ensure budgeted work is properly estimated, proposed and baselined

Education: Bachelors in Aerospace and/or Engineering required; Masters / Advanced Graduate Degree in Business Management or Engineering Preferred

Qualifications:
Required:
15+ years of combined experience in IT project management AND logistics support/engine sustainment
2+ years of experience with propulsion integration in ALIS Systems
1+ years experience in each MXi and OBPHM

Preferred:
IT Certificate or Software Programming Certifications
ACE Associate Certification
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as frequent customer interface is required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, motivated to drive positive results in a complex highly cooperative environment.
Previous Migration experience with transferring assets from MXi to ALIS
Previous experience with unique Flight Test lifting systems highly desired to support C2D2 tasks
Previous management of program cost & schedule activities a plus (Earned Value & Risk Mgmt.)
Ability to effectively foster partnering across organizations to accomplish goals
Excellent communication, presentation and data management skills
Sound judgment, assertive influencing and negotiation skills
