You are an experienced technical program manager looking to shape Shipwire, a leading Software as a Service E-commerce & Logistics platform. You are great at designing and improving product development processes. You like empowering teams, and have passion for how the work gets done, striving for more efficiency, and happier employees.

Your Responsibilities as Technical Program Manager:
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and technical leadership team to understand upcoming release objectives and drive visibility around plans, milestones, and deliverables for development backlogs and releases.
Contribute to product development efforts through planning, prioritizing, and day-to-day project management with the technical teams.
Facilitate regular release review meetings with key stakeholders to gain holistic understanding of cross-team prioritization, cost estimation, and resource planning within the product development organization.
Effectively move projects forward and manage risk, whether that's helping with research, task tracking, unblocking teams, or communication.
Partner with your colleagues to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, with clear communication, and plans are appropriately adjusted to reflect necessary changes in goals and requirements.
Administer JIRA system and define improvements to JIRA workflows for Engineering and Product teams. Implement new JIRA features to build consistent processes and increase transparency of software development progress.
Champion process improvements with the product development teams and provide best practices to improve team efficiencies and overall effectiveness.

3+ years of experience in a technical program manager or similar role.
Relevant experience in SaaS software development, release management, professional services, solution engineering, technical consulting, are pluses.
Strong attention to detail, reliability in getting things done and experience delivering thorough, high-quality results.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities that keep teams executing and working well together.
Ability to understand technical and complex concepts while also understanding the big picture strategy.
Eagerness to learn and adapt, to be flexible in a fast-paced environment and ability to build relationships.
Experience with development methodologies and tactics for roadmap, backlog and development management are required. Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies preferred.
Excellent communication skills, data driven, and fluent dealing with ambiguities and conflict.
B.S. or M.S. degree in a business or engineering discipline.
