We are currently seeking Restaurant Assistant General Managers who can bring operational excellence to the day-to-day running of our Panera Bread restaurants. While we currently have an amazing management team, we are actively growing and need to bring on new talent as we continue to expand. Our Assistant General Managers play a multi-faceted role, positioned as a member of the management team you will be closely involved with training and coaching Team Members and Managers. Restaurant Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Development, supervision, and monitoring of all Team Members and Managers
  • Communicate and ensure adherence to all restaurant policies and procedures
  • Perform operational activities such as shift running, inventory control, scheduling, hiring, sanitation, planning, maintaining stock, monitoring food supplies, and other P&L factors
  • Establish and build positive relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction and continued sales
  • Ensure the restaurant is staffed to maintain company essence and quality standards

Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ restaurant management experience
  • Exposure to financial accountability
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
