We are currently seeking Restaurant Assistant General Managers who can bring operational excellence to the day-to-day running of our Panera Bread restaurants. Our Assistant General Managers play a multi-faceted role, positioned as a member of the management team you will be closely involved with training and coaching Team Members and Managers. Restaurant Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Development, supervision, and monitoring of all Team Members and Managers
  • Communicate and ensure adherence to all restaurant policies and procedures
  • Perform operational activities such as shift running, inventory control, scheduling, hiring, sanitation, planning, maintaining stock, monitoring food supplies, and other P&L factors
  • Establish and build positive relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction and continued sales
  • Ensure the restaurant is staffed to maintain company essence and quality standards

Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ restaurant management experience
  • Exposure to financial accountability
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
