Intel True View is an exciting, dynamic and creative team within the newly formed, Intel Sports.

True View was formerly FreeD which stands for “Free Dimensional” video, an entirely new concept for capturing and creating immersive data that allows users to interact with real-time or pre-recorded content. This technology has been used for Olympic Games, NFL, NBA, Tennis, Soccer, and MLB.


Intel and XLT (staffing in broadcast) are looking for eligible candidates to fill a True View Navigator position. The Navigator will be responsible for controlling the hardware and software of the True View system, monitoring multi-server system, troubleshooting, working with engineering support, and overall in charge that the system is operative for game days.


  • Troubleshooting and working under pressure are the most important skills necessary to perform this role.
  • Eager and able to learn new concepts in 3D immersive data - deep understand of the TrueView mechanism of action will be provided and required.
  • True View point of contact with engineering, operation, and production.
  • Running numerous hardware and software tests to make sure system is calibrated and operative.
  • Ensure cameras are operational at all times and troubleshoot if camera issues persist.
  • Handle site inventory/RMA as part of the Pre- and Post- events.
  • Works with the site Pilot during an event and while maintaining the system between events.
  • IT knowledge is preferable to fix IT and camera issues, including climbing ladders with safey equipment if needed.
